Verizon Will Roll Out Its New Smartwatch Called Wear24, Based On Android 2.0 From May 11

Smartwatches have gained huge interest among its users due to its exceptional functionality that goes beyond just time keeping. Verizon, the American multinational company have recently announced new wearable smartwatch dubbed as Wear24. Verizon has announced that $350 smartwatch can be purchased online and from stores from May 11.  The Android 2.0 based smartwatch supports 4G LTE connectivity and will be available in 3 hues namely stainless steel, gunmetal black and rose gold.

As most of the smartwatches are gearing to include Android Wear 2.0 OS in their device, Verizon has also planned to do so and have shipped its smartwatch with latest OS. LG Watch Sport and Verizon Wear24 will allow us to make and receive calls and will be equipped with Android Pay options.

But there is a pricing difference between LG Watch Sport and Verizon Wear24, the later smartwatch has a price tag of $349 but can be purchased at $299 if users choose two-year activation plan. Whereas the LG Watch Sport has a price tag of $379 and in the case of two-year activation plan the smartwatch is priced at $329.
