One Plus, the China-based smartphone manufacturer formed in 2013 have successfully acquired a large customer base with its best smartphones. OnePlus has successfully launched five smartphones until now namely OnePlus One, OnePlus 2, OnePlus X, OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T.
The company is about to launch OnePlus 5 smartphone which will be released this year that will feature Snapdragon 835 processor which is confirmed by the company in the month of May. The Amazon India’s teaser page has also disclosed that the phone will have 8GB RAM. The Amazon India Landing page was also checked by other people just to confirm whether the leak is true or not.
Famous tipster Evan Blass has already said that OnePlus 5 featuring 2.35GHz octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor and 8GB RAM will be launched on 22 June 2017 on Amazon.in website. Also, the phone will be launched exclusively in Mumbai on 22 June at 2 pm. There’s a lot of information below the hidden source code present on Amazon India landing page. The smartphone will be the slimmest smartphone ever launched as per Weibo’s post. OnePlus has also released invites on Wednesday and the invite image shows a tagline saying “Focus on what matters.” The tagline indicates that phone will have the best camera technology. The phone will be listed in a small number of the device which has 8GB RAM.
The Snapdragon 835 SoC will have a clock speed of 2.35GHz. OnePlus 5 will flaunt its full 5.5-inch HD display which was seen in the earlier version of the phone. According to the images revealed by Android Police, OnePlus 5 displays horizontal stacked dual rear camera setup at the backside and front display having Never Settle wallpaper. Another leaked image was disclosed by Weibo in which the phone design from back and sides was displayed showing its slim design and horizontal dual rear camera fine-tuned by DxO.
It is seen that OnePlus 5 resembles iPhone 7 in terms of design. OnePlus 3 had a price tag of Rs 27,999 and the price of OnePlus 5 in India is not yet known and the price is expected to rise.
