Motorola which is owned by Lenovo has announced the new series of smartphones namely Moto E4 series which differs from the models which were released by the company in 2016.
The E series smartphones by Motorola or Lenovo are basically budget-friendly phones namely E4 and E4 Plus. The modifications coming out to E4 series are that Lenovo is announcing larger model in E4 Plus. Apart from the large display screen, the most notable difference between E4 and E4 Plus is that the latter one has large battery life. The E4 phone has a battery of 2,800-mAh and its later version has a large 5,000-mAh battery. Hence the E4 Plus smartphone can last upto 2 days without charging. But the large battery does not indicate that the phone will have enhanced battery life.
Both the smartphones will support quick charging even is the battery reaches the lowest limit. These 2 phones resemble each other in terms of hardware. Both the phones have 1.4 GHz quad-core processor, 4 GB RAM and 16 GB of onboard storage. But the storage capacity can be extended using SD cards.
E4 and E4 Plus are powered by Android Nougat 7 OS and the Android O will soon hit the phones in coming months. The E4 smartphone has a 5-megapixel front camera and only 8-megapixel rear camera whereas the E4 Plus has a 5-megapixel front camera and 13-megapixels rear camera to capture high-resolution images.
Nowadays many smartphone manufacturers prefer glass bodies over the metal bodies since it gives an appealing look to the phone. But the glass bodies are less durable hence the company have launched the Moto E4 series phones with metal bodies instead of glass bodies.
As E4 Plus has been equipped with slightly higher functionality the price of this phone will be higher compared to the E4 smartphone. The E4 Plus model comes with a price tag of $179.99 and the E4 smartphone has a price tag of $129.99. If you are looking for budget-friendly phones with good functionalities you can add these two smartphones to your Wishlist.
