Motorola, the American multinational telecommunications industry located in Illinois is gearing up with the advances taking place in smartphone technology. To stand out of the crowd the company have designed Moto Mods which is a unique way to show off the smartphone modularity.
Motorola has conducted a Pitch Day to help the inventors to present their innovative ideas in front of Motorola, Lenovo, and Verizon.
Some of the outstanding ideas proposed by the company during the event are extended battery life with a solar charger, separate LED light rings to show notifications and physical QWERTY keyboard. But Motorola, Lenovo and Verizon were interested only in two mods out of all those basically the Digiframe that clings an e-paper display on the back of the device similar to the one seen in the Yotaphone 2 and another concept called MACAY TrueSound HiFi, which improves the audio input and output on the phone by adding analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converter.
What is Moto Mods Digiframe?
The Digiframe concept coming to Moto Z phones will have always on a sticky note that can quickly provide the required information to the users. The Digiframe can provide all details like weather forecasts, traffic information, calendar updates and also allows you to customize all the features required by the user.
Also, it is equipped with e-paper display present on the back for the e-reading purpose.
What is Moto Mods MACAY TrueSound HiFi?
MACAY TrueSound HiFi is designed to provide high-quality sound experience to the user. The Moto Mods MACAY TrueSound HiFi is basically an analog-to-digital and the digital-to-analog converter to provide audio input and output for your Moto Z smartphone. This concept will be beneficial for musicians and audiophiles since it is beyond just standard headphone jack.
The two Moto Mods apart from Digiframe and MACAY TrueSound HiFi are also being developed further. Other different features like wireless charging panel and IR blaster which is as thin as style shell and other feature are on its way.
