Lucid Motors wants to gather the traffic for its new electric car which has a price tag of $52,500. Lucid Motors “Air” is the Menlo Park’s first car since its origin in 2007. Firstly introduced in 2014 as an aluminum prototype called “Atieva Atvus,” the Lucid Air is the company’s efforts to contribute to electric car technology. It is seen as the competitor of Model S and Model 3 by Tesla, a company founded by billionaire technopreneur Elon Musk. Lucid Air is quickening its launch

As per the official product blog, the basic price upfront for Lucid Air will be $52,500, excluding the $7,500 federal tax credit for EV buyers is subtracted. Hence, the gross selling price will be $60,000.

The Lucid Air is a spacious luxury car showing off its latest in electric vehicle and car technology. The car is expected to have a 240-mile range on a full battery with a rear-wheel drive cranking up to 400 horsepower. The battery options can be boosted to 315- or 400-mile range options. For the drive power, one can also upgrade up to 1,000 horsepower on a twin-motor, all-wheel drive configuration.

The Lucid Air has a spacious and comfy interior, with 12-way power front seats and 5-seat configuration for the backside seats. There are two trunks which have combined the capacity of 32 cubic feet, which is perfect for occasional road trips.

The Lucid Air has LED multi-lens array headlights to shine at the front, while four interactive touch screens adorn the insides, complemented by a 10-speaker system. The exciting feature is the autonomous driving, which Lucid Motors has, unlike its competitors which also charge the customers for the autodrive feature.

In addition to this, the company says that a fully loaded Air can have priced up to $100,000.
